Getting Here and Around

There's little public transit in the Old Town, so walking is really the most practical way to get around; you could take a cab, but it's not worth the trouble. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from Námestí Republiky to Staromestská. If you're coming to the Old Town from another part of Prague, three metro stops circumscribe the area: Staromestská on the west, námestí Republiky on the east, and Mustek on the south, at the point where Old Town and Wenceslas Square meet.
