$$$$, Pan-Asian, Staré Mesto
Fodor's Review:
As a break from sightseeing, the location can't be beat: Barock's sidewalk tables gaze across at the Old-New Synagogue. Most of the buzz here is for how it looks: walls bathed in matte scarlet, deep-dish orange chairs, and recessed mood lighting make a chic statement, suiting the stylish address on boutique-heavy Parízská. But Barock remains a popular destination in its own right, in part due to the open-passport approach in the kitchen: crunchy Vietnamese spring rolls, spicy Thai soups and curries, fresh Mediterranean seafood, Continental salads, and hearty Czech classics like roast duck all meet on the same menu.
