Divinis

Divinis Review

The austere decor—white fabric chairs, untreated wood tables and floors—at this wine-centric Italian restaurant on a quiet street near the Týn cathedral belies the quality and complexity of its food. Whether you sample a platter with warm lardo and salumi atop crostini, or try something more complex like a marinated octopus salad that's spicily piquant, the dishes are skillfully prepared and attractively presented. Beef cheeks braised with Marsala and spinach or pork belly and lentils make excellent entrées, but if you're not up for a huge meal, opt for the more ethereal pastas, which incorporate seasonal ingredients and high-end fillips like foie gras and duck. The all-Italian wine list is one of the city's best.
