Icon Hotel & Lounge Review

From its Diesel-clad and hair-gelled staff to its marshmallow-like Hästens beds, this hotel is dressed to impress, and has been attracting a lot of attention since it entered the hotel scene in 2007. The motto is "service with a sense of fun," but the real pleasure of the hotel is not so much the fun as its attention to detail—from Skype phones in rooms to biometric (yes, fingerprint) safes that fit laptops to hip furniture that's all made locally. Rooms have touches of gold and purple that would make Prince proud. Needless to say, this property is for the type of traveler that would embrace its Eurodisco trimmings.
