Fodor's Review:
Not all of the city's best restaurants are in the center. This casual, family-run café brings artful cooking to the neighborhood along the Vinohrady-Vrsovice border, thrilling a dedicated crowd of locals. With a pronounced shabby-chic touch, the setting is decidedly modest, allowing the food to swing for the stars, courtesy of the well-traveled, up-and-coming young chef Filip Blazek. Main courses include such flavorful fare as creamy broccoli soup with sweet hazelnut dumplings, spicy duck tagine with spinach blinis, and roast lamb with tomato chutney, all in healthy portions, and all served at prices that put the loud touristy places in the city's center to shame.
