Opened in 2006, the Hotel Yasmin has brought a funky flavor to what, until now, has been a conservative approach to modern in the city's hotels. A confluence of classy Asian design and splashy modernism, this hotel is for those who crave übertrendy surroundings in the common areas but prefer clean, breathable, and less flamboyant sleeping rooms. The views are nothing to write home about, but the location—one street over from Václavské námestí—is. A white lily motif is splashed from floor to ceiling and the decorations—mirrored balls like water drops—add fresh accents.
