Right on the riverfront, yet overlooked by most tourists, this hip bistro serves authentic dishes from Bogotá, courtesy of the Colombian-Czech couple who owns the place. In large part that means beef: clear beef broth with stewed beef rib known as caldo de costilla; white-corn empanadas stuffed with ground beef and rice; and arepas, thick corn pancakes filled with gooey white cheese. Both the 300-gram (10-ounce) beef steak and the grilled beef liver are excellent meals for hearty appetites.
