Clam-Gallas palác (Clam-Gallas Palace) Review
The work of Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach, the famed Viennese architectural virtuoso of the day, is showcased in this earth-tone palace. Construction began in 1713 and finished in 1729. Enter the building to glimpse the Italian frescoes depicting Apollo and the battered but intricately carved staircase, done by the master himself. Clam-Gallas palác is now used for art exhibitions and concerts. If you don't see anyone offering tickets at a table on the street, go inside and up to the desk on the second floor.
