In the second decade of the 20th century, young Czech architects boldly applied cubism's radical reworking of visual space to architecture and design. This museum, refurbished and now run by the National Gallery, showcases fine examples of every genre. The building itself is cubist, designed by Josef Gocár. Inside there are three floors of paintings, sculptures, drawings, furniture, and other "applied arts" in the cubist style. And don't miss the gift shop, which, while pricey, is worth discovering for some of the oddest-looking home furnishings you've ever seen.
