The high point of this museum is a paper model of Prague that shows what the city looked like before the Jewish ghetto was destroyed in a massive fire in 1689. Display boards—not all are in English—trace the history of the city from its origins through the 17th century. Though technically situated in Nové Mesto, the trek over to this out-of-the-way museum is easy from Old Town, since it's near the Florenc metro station.
