Informacní stredisko (Castle Information Office)
Informacní stredisko (Castle Information Office) Review
This is the place to come for entrance tickets, guided tours, audio-tour players, and tickets to cultural events held at the castle. You can wander around a great deal of the castle for free, especially as admission to St. Vitus's is now gratis once again. There are two tour options, with tickets valid for two days. The shorter tour (at a cheaper price) allows entrance to the Royal Palace, Golden Lane, the Daliborka Tower, St. George's Basilica, and the permanent exhibition on the history of the castle, "The Story of Prague Castle." This will provide more than enough castle quality time for most people. A more expensive, longer tour also includes the powder tower, the convent of St. George, and the Picture Gallery, in addition to sites included in the cheaper tour. If you just want to walk through the castle grounds, note that the gates close at midnight from April through October and at 11 pm the rest of the year, and the gardens are open from April through October only.
