Museum Kampa
Museum Kampa Review
The spotlighted jewel on Kampa Island is a remodeled flour mill that now displays a private collection of paintings by Czech artist Frantisek Kupka and first-rate temporary exhibitions by both Czech and other Central European visual wizards. The museum was hit hard by the 2002 flood; waters rose up 19½ feet in the building and courtyard. But the museum rebounded quickly and now includes an elegant restaurant with an outdoor terrace that offers a splendid view of the river and historic buildings on the opposite bank.
