Come for the setting cast off by the stately 19th-century parlor and elevated by panoramic views of the Vltava River, Prague Castle, and Petrín Hill. The food is similarly sophisticated: homemade pumpkin ravioli with sage butter, venison consommé with veal-liver gnocchi, roast pike-perch with fragrant mushroom risotto, and juicy, herb-encrusted lamb chops with tangy mint sauce are but a few of the seasonal recipes served here. Be sure to make it clear that you want a seat with a view, as several of the tables have their views blocked by the linden trees along the river.

Overated

The view is superb; but that is all. We found the food very overpriced and just ordinary. Nothing special. A dinner with a glass of wine, appetizer, entree, and dessert will cost well over $150.

Fine But Prague's Got a Lot Further to Go

A perfectly fine meal. Interesting local wines are offered (not great but always nice to see local offerings). Foie gras was so-so. Duck entree was nice and flavorful. Berries in port for dessert--literally berries swimming in port. I guess I thought it was port reduction but no just straight alcohol. It was good but I guess i didn't need a glass of dessert wine as well! At least it was cheaper than Kampa Park but asked for a view and didn't get a view table (very few tables have a view). Had a lot of problems with the online booking system. It's an elegant space and the service was good. Attentive but no one rushed us out of there.

Food and view make it worth the price.

Request a window table. The food and service make this pricy river/bridge view staple a winner.
