This early-baroque armory-turned-hotel is tucked away on an abundantly picturesque street at the southern end of Malá Strana, just off Kampa Island. Note the late-Gothic vaulting in the massive dining room. At one time the bucolic setting and proximity to the city center made this lodging option a comparative bargain; now hotels within blocks offer the same, if not better, services and can be a few euros cheaper. But it's a good fallback option if you can't get a room anywhere else in this location.
