Fodor's Review:

In the age of iPod mania, this was Prague's first concept hotel and what a concept it was -- a music-themed hotel. Each elegant room is dedicated to a musical genre and equipped with CD/DVD players and speakers. From the outside, you'd never guess that überhipness and gorgeous design lurk within, but few will be disappointed staying here. The rooftop terrace, with its panoramic view of Prague, is simply the best.

Great Hotel in a perfect location

Had the pleasure of staying at the Aria for four days during our first trip to Prague. We chose this hotel because of recos from Travel Channel (Sam Brown) and other Foderites. We enjoyed our stay immensely and highly recommend this hotel. The hotel desk staff was excellent; as was the inclusive breakfast. The location of this hotel is outstanding in that it is in a quieter area, yet close to everything. Only problem we encountered during our stay involved the rooftop cafe where the server would not provide a menu, she was too busy serving a group that was meeting in the hotel and really did not want to serve us anyway, frankly we were not made to feel welcome; hence we got a surprise when the drink my wife ordered came to over $30; it had cost less than $8 in other cafes. Live and Learn - had we had the menu his would not have happened. The gardens in back of the hotel must be experienced; they are beautiful, providing a peaceful break in what can be a sometimes hectic city. In our case the transfer prices quoted by the hotel from airport and to the train station seemed high. Once we arrived the hotel guest information book in the rooms say the airport transfer is complimentary; presumably this has changed and has yet to be updated. Thus would recommend shopping this service. We used Athos and they were excellent. Also the recos for David restaurant (close to the hotel) were right on; but be advised that this is somewhat of a gourmet establishment (pricey), but well worth trying. We had a very nice dinner there with outstanding service.

"I Did It My Way"

Just returned from a three country vacation and I can't quit smiling over my hotel choice. This was a wonderful hotel with a twist. We stayed in the Crooners suite, with Frank Sinatra. The buffet breakfast was very filling and you were able to order items off the menu. The Conceirge was very patient and helpful in making sure we were able to have views at our restaurant of choice. It's also very convenient to all must see attractions and the US Embassy.
