In a residence that originally dates from 1411, this hotel offers a great location, not far from Old Town Square's Astronomical Clock. Rooms are divided between those with baroque details (massive wood headboards, brocaded curtains, gilt-framed mirrors) and those with a more modern look (glass coffee tables and white leather couches), though all of the rooms could do with a refresh. The on-site restaurant serves Czech food paired with Moravian wines and features live Gypsy
music. Out of season you can find tremendous deals.

My husband and I stayed at the Residence 7 Angels in 2002, and we are returning this fall. This is an affordable and charming pension. We stayed in the Terrazza room with frescos on the walls with ceiling to floor windows, a large sitting area and comfortable bed. The restaurant is charming and memorable with gypsy music nightly and a 15% discount for guests of the pension. Breakfast was generous and cooked to order in the charming dining room. The
Residence 7 Angels is just around the corner from the main square, so it makes Prague very accessible on foot at affordable rates. We highly recommend the Residence 7 Angels.
