A honeycomb of comfortably lit rooms, all under Gothic-style vaults, Ultramarine is popular with the business-lunch crowd by day and both the preclub clientele and cozy couples in the evening. This restaurant has helped fill an important niche, serving up quality meals in a location that is equal parts pub, café, and restaurant. If you have the midnight munchies, the kitchen is open until 1:30 AM. Beers are a bit pricey by Prague standards, so quaffing is better done elsewhere, but the Thai soup and American-style burgers are local hits. Way, way down, the deep cellar holds even more seating, a bar, and club.
