Alcron Review

An intimate salon of just seven tables, Alcron remains the city's seafood mecca. Though dating from 1998, this semicircular room's Jazz Age murals give it a classic presence. Main courses feature creative interpretations of traditional fish recipes from around the world, including seasonal specials such as smoked eel with truffled scrambled eggs, scallops with caviar, lobster bisque, and langoustines with seared foie gras. The limited seating arrangements mean reservations are a must.
