Château Lednice na Moravé Review
Just 12 km (7 mi) east of Mikulovis the Château Lednice na Moravé, a must-see if you happen to be in the area. The dining room alone, with resplendent blue-and-green silk wall coverings embossed with the Moravian eagle, makes the visit memorable. The grounds, not to be outdone by the sumptuous interior, have a 200-foot-tall minaret and a massive greenhouse filled with exotic flora. The absolute splendor of the palace and gardens contrasts sharply with the workaday reality of Lednice.
