$$-$$$$, French, Nové Mesto
Fodor's Review:
When chef Jean-Paul Manzac left the Prague Marriott to open his own shiny bistro, he changed the very definition of local French food. Brasserie M. is a spacious restaurant with all the classics from simple croque sandwiches to elegant grilled turbot, passing by way of true Alsatian fare, like choucroute garnie (a sort of sauerkraut with meat) and a traditional chocolate mousse (the recipe was passed down from the chef's father). It's all excellent and generally about half the price of fancier French places around town.
