Started by a Czech-French couple, this tiny bistro near the Veletrzní palác (Trade Fair Palace) is devoted to all manner of crepes, both sweet and savory, using traditional blé noir (buckwheat) from France. If you have an extremely hearty appetite, you may need to order several, but save room for the dessert crepe with cinnamon-apple puree layered with lemon cream. The wine list offers both French and Hungarian vintages. La Crêperie is inexpensive, but the honest fare and cool French-rustic atmosphere make it feel like a splurge.
