$$, Zizkov
Fodor's Review:
The keys to this building have passed through many hands -- in 1910 it was the city hall of Zizkov, then a theater, and during Communism a bar (rumor has it, the upstairs rooms were used as a rendezvous point for couples). Today this hotel, which was rebuilt in 2000, has emerged as a beacon of classiness in a neighborhood that is not so classy, but it's still just two tram stops from the city center. The original art nouveau design was kept and paired with modern accoutrements.
