$$$$, Smíchov
Fodor's Review:
Most rooms in this small, architectural eye-catcher on the left bank of the Vltava have enviable views of the Fred and Ginger building, the river, or the National Theater -- and if the room faces into the courtyard, usually you're compensated with a balcony. The hotel was decorated by French designer Pascale de Montremy, every detail was taken into consideration, down to the plush green bow for room service that reads "Please Make Up My Room." Its wide-stripeed fabric and French feel inspire cravings for a croissant. Though the hotel does not have room for a full restaurant, a buffet breakfast is included, and sandwiches are offered in the bar or via 24-hour room service.
