Hotel Le Palais

$$$$, Vinohrady

Fodor's Review:

Built in 1841 this venerable building served as the home and shop of Prague's main butcher (one of the front rooms was used to produce and sell sausage until 1991). Today you will only find sausage in the distinctive hotel's restaurant. Rooms have original frescoes painted by Bohemian artist Ludek Marold, and a hallway has an original mosaic floor from 1897. Some rooms have fireplaces, making them especially cozy in winter, and all rooms have air-conditioning to make them comfortable in summer. Service is personal and welcoming, and the outstanding gym is a big plus. Public areas and suites are equipped with Wi-Fi.
