This colossal 17-story modern structure between the Mimara Museum and the Botanical Garden still looks homely on the outside, but on the inside rooms are bright, spacious, and clean, if a bit uninspiring; the chain's signature "Heavenly Beds" are exceptionally comfortable. Note that in addition to 44 suites, the Westin also offers 13 meeting rooms as well as sports and business facilities.
PROS
- some rooms have great city views
- excellent amenities and services such as large pool and meeting rooms
- great meal options, including fine dining and light café bites
CONS
- 15 minutes from main square
- decor is somewhat bland
- neighborhood is not the most picturesque
