Hotel Adriana Review
On the seafront, looking across the busy harbor toward the Old Town, the Adriana reopened in June 2007 after total renovation. The rooms are decorated in minimalist style in subtle earthy shades with dark wooden floors, flat-screen TV, and bathrooms with glass partitions. There is a rooftop pool and sophisticated cocktail bar affording stunning views onto the sea and Old Town, and a chic ground-floor restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine on the harbor front. The luxurious Sensori Spa offers seven types of massage, beauty treatments, yoga and Pilates.

Modern Seaside Style
Light and airy, this 1970s building was redesigned by London-based architects Jestico + Whiles to reopen as an uber-cool hotel with a chic minimalist look in 2007. With views onto trendy Hvar's main square and Baroque cathedral and out across the azure-blue Adriatic to the pine-scented Pakleni islets, the property combines contemporary design with unspoiled island romance. The 50 rooms have wooden floors and daring glass-walled bathrooms, while the nine spa suites have the added indulgence of two-person Jacuzzis. Facilities include the vast Sensori Spa, complete with a blue-mosaic rooftop pool filled with heated seawater, a panoramic-view cocktail bar, and a sleek waterside restaurant overlooking the wooden boats in the fishing harbor.
