An excellent budget choice in the Old Town, these homey, light, and airy apartments look directly onto the fishing boats in the old harbor. Each unit has two or three beds, a bathroom, and a kitchen. Expect high ceilings, wooden floors, colorfully-painted wood furniture, and handmade bedspreads. It's run by the Van Bloemen family, who arrived here from London in 1972 and have brilliant stories to tell. You'll find the entrance in a narrow side street between the Rector's
Palace and the aquarium.
