Getting to Zadar is easiest by car. Be it on the A1 highway from Zagreb, down a winding coastal road from Rijeka or from nearby Split, the roads are good and there are signs aplenty. If you are skipping the Kvarner region, Croatian Airlines operates flights from Pula as well as from Zagreb, and the Zadar intl is also served from England and Germany during the summer months.
