Those with a discriminating palate and a not so discriminating pocketbook should try this restaurant. Service is included in the price, which is a good thing, since the price is nothing to sneeze at in this sparkling, air-conditioned venue right across from the harbor. The menu offers such delicacies as fish fillet in scampi and scallops sauce, cream soup with truffles and mushrooms, and beefsteak Sv. Nikola. You can set forth on this culinary adventure with a plate of
raw octopus and oysters from Istria's west coast or Istrian prosciutto. Or sample many dishes with one of their tasting menus. As good as the food may be, though, the elegant, spotless interior isn't exactly brimming with character, but the seafront terrace is lovely.
