Sv Nikola Restaurant
Sv Nikola Restaurant Review
Those with a discriminating palate and a not so discriminating pocketbook should try this restaurant. Service is included in the price, which is a good thing, since the price is nothing to sneeze at in this sparkling, air-conditioned venue right across from the harbor. The menu offers such delicacies as fish fillet in malvazija (white) wine sauce; meat carpaccio with truffles, Parmesan, and wild arugula; and beefsteak Decumanus (with pine nuts, goose-liver pâté, and black truffles). You can set forth on this culinary adventure with a plate of raw clams and oysters from Istria's west coast or Istrian prosciutto. As good as the food may be, though, the elegant, spotless interior isn't exactly brimming with character.
