Remember that most museums are closed on Monday. If you would like to explore one of the city's lively markets, head for the town center on a Saturday or to Jambes on the left side of the Meuse River on Sunday. The Feast of Wallonia takes place the third week in September at the Citadelle. On New Year's Eve, the Citadelle hosts a light show. You can also ask the staff at the tourist office on place de l'Europe Unie if there are any local festivals happening during your stay.
