The nearest railway station to Malmédy is Trois-Ponts. There are around a dozen daily departures from Liège Guillemins (50 minutes to one hour). Bus #745 connects with train arrivals and takes a further 25 minutes to reach Malmédy, passing through Stavelot en route.
