Getting Here & Around

From Brugge, take the E403 highway towards Kortrijk, where you get on the A19 (direction Ieper); take exit 4, and follow the N37 to the city center. If you're coming from Gent, follow the E17 towards Kortrijk and Rijsel (aka Lille, in France); south of Kortrijk, jump on the E403 (direction Brugge) for 6 km (4 mi) and take the A19. From Brussels, take the E40 towards Gent, and at the crossroads in Zwijnaarde, follow directions from Gent. Hourly direct trains from Brussels get you to Ieper in 1 hour and 45 minutes. There are hourly trains from Gent and Brugge as well, but as you have to change in Kortrijk, the trip takes over an hour.
