Stedelijk Museum van Actuele Kunst (SMAK) Review
Housed in a former casino, the Municipal Museum for Contemporary Art is one of Belgium's most innovative spaces, with constantly morphing displays of post-1945 art. Art by Bacon, Nauman, Panamarenko, Broodthaers, and Long, and the CoBrA (Copenhagen, Brussels, and Amsterdam) group make regular appearances. Performance art is also a highlight. There is some descriptive material in English.
