There's no false advertising to the name; this 1989 hotel is a stone's throw from the Grand'Place. Though the facade's gables mimic those of older buildings, the Novotel has the cookie-cutter modern decor of many lodging chains. The small guest rooms come with a sofa bed and there's no extra charge for up to two children under 16. Pros: good central location, minutes from the Grand'Place. Cons: rooms facing the Grand'Place can be noisy.
