Stanhope

Fodor's Review:

This exclusive hotel was created out of three adjoining town houses and continues to expand. Some rooms have high ceilings, marble bathrooms, and luxurious furniture, while others have a more modern look aimed at business travelers. Larger rooms and suites, indicated by thematic names, have individual looks and canopied beds. The Linley, for example, has furniture handmade by Viscount Linley, nephew of the Queen of England. Pros: friendly staff, nice rooms. Cons: slightly further from historical center than some hotels.

  • Hotel Details: 108 rooms, 7 suites, 2 royal suites
  • In-room: safe, Internet.
  • In-hotel: restaurant, bar, gym, parking (paid).
  • Rate includes: Continental breakfast
  • Credit Cards: AE, DC, MC, V
  • Metro: Metro: Trone
