Book NowLe Dixseptième Review
Here you can stay in what was once the residence of the Spanish ambassador. The stylishly restored 17th-century building lies between the Grand'Place and the Gare Centrale. Rooms surround a lovely interior courtyard, and suites are up a splendid Louis XVI staircase. Named after Belgian artists, rooms have whitewashed walls, plain floorboards, exposed beams, and suede sofas. Suites have decorative fireplaces and the honeymoon suite is particularly romantic.

Just got back from a stay at Le Dixeptieme and would HIGHLY reccommend it. For starters, the location is perfect -- especially if you are arriving by train. It's literally a five minute walk, and from there another 5 minute walk to the heart of town at the Grand Place. the proximity is great, yet it's far enough away to miss out on all the noise. The hotel itself is a gem. Each room has a unique character and you really feel like your part of the local culture. If you like "cookie cutter" hotels where all the rooms are the same, this isn't for you. We stayed in the COurtens Suite, a duplex unit with a patio that has an amazing view of the spires of the Hotel De Ville. Great for enjoying a bottle of wine after a long day. The staff, although not large, was very accomdoating. I would stay here again without question!!
