One of the first high-rises in Brussels back in the 1960s, this one outclasses most other Hiltons in Europe. The four stories of executive rooms have a separate check-in area; there are nine floors of business rooms, all decorated in warm tones. The location is great for upscale shopping, and the building, an uninspiring gray block, has a fine panoramic view over the capital. The restaurant, the Maison du Boeuf, is one of the best in town; the ground-floor Café d'Egmont stays open around the clock. Pros: good location between main shopping streets and historical center, nice views from upper floors. Cons: the building looks ugly and is located on a busy main street.
