Château du Lac Review
Half an hour from the city center and a good choice as a peaceful base from which to visit the capital and the provinces, this mock-Florentine castle is a former Schweppes bottling plant. The contemporary rooms have walnut furniture and are decorated according to their size and location in the hotel. The restaurant turns out particularly good French and Belgian fare; it has a sweeping view of the lake to boot. Golf lovers can ask the staff to book a round on a local course.
