The Brussels Urban Transport Museum lines up more than 60 historic trams and buses—from horse-drawn trolleys to blunt-nosed 1950s buses. The museum also organizes visits with English commentary on historic trams Sunday morning April-October for EUR 12. Trams depart at 10 AM for a 3½-hour ride between Woluwe and Heysel. For a break from the fumes of the history of public transport, take a walk in the adjacent Parc de Woluwe, a local favorite. If you take the tram to the museum, sit on the right-hand side and keep an eye out for the 1906-11 Palais Stoclet, a stunning geometric villa at No. 281.
