Beethoven Review

Chef Chantal Mortier built up a substantial local following over the years; she now serves her fans at her intimate Flemish restaurant off the Markt, with her husband at the front of the house. In winter a fire warms up the dining room and the menu offers comforting favorites like steak (fillet, tournedos, or rib eye) with frieten. In summer the street-front tables become a prime spot for people-watching. The menu lightens up accordingly, with salads such as goat cheese and honey or shrimp and smoked salmon. Though reservations aren't mandatory, they're highly recommended.

    Beethoven Review

    My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant and we found the experience to be very average. The portions are large, we both had salads, which were good and ordered Steak, which was not well prepared or tender. While the service was friendly, they tended to spend more time with the locals that came in or their som playing soccer in the street then on the patrons. Not terrible but not very good
