Fodor's Review

A stroll down this short street introduces you to the residential neighborhood that has arisen in this historic district. The gothic butcher's hall, Vleeshuis is the most prominent of the ancient buildings that remain, among them the late-gothic De Spieghel (The Mirror) off Oude Beurs at Spanjepandsteeg. Originally built for the archers' guild, it was bought in 1506 by Pieter Gillis, a leading humanist.
