The flagship of the more than two dozen theaters in Antwerp is the Toneelhuis Bourla Theater, a marvelously restored 19th-century facility, which is now the home of the Koninklijke Nederlands Schouwburg (Royal Dutch-speaking Theater). This troupe presents both classic and contemporary plays.
