You used to find well-respected haute cuisine here, but the owner has made the transition to a more relaxed establishment. Now the monthly changing menu offers brasserie fare such as salad liègeoise (with beans, boiled potatoes, and morsels of bacon), duck à l'orange, and tuna steak. Under high, massive beams supported by stone pillars, you sit surrounded by flowers and carved wood, at tables overlooking an interior courtyard. There are two seatings a night.

SIR ANTHONY VAN DIJCK has been and still is one of the best places to dine in Antwerp. You absolutely need reservations, especially in the weekend, or it will be hard to get in. But it is absolutley worth it.
