In this cozy nook behind the cathedral, the daily menu is written on a three-panel chalkboard that seems to be bigger than the restaurant itself. Up on the board you'll find an eclectic mix, from tapas to jambalaya to a solid rendition of the classic waterzooi (traditional Flemish stew with chicken or seafood). With five tables, this is a small gem. You're wise to phone ahead for a table, as hours of operation are sometimes dictated by the reservation book.
