Fodor's Review:
The Vleeshuis is the most prominent landmark of the residential neighborhood that has arisen in this historic district. Many ancient buildings remain, among them De Spieghel (The Mirror) off Oude Beurs at Spanjepandsteeg. Originally built for the archers' guild, it was bought in 1506 by Pieter Gillis, a leading humanist.
