Museum van Hedendaagse Kunst (M HKA)

Museum van Hedendaagse Kunst (M HKA) Review

One of Belgium's most important contemporary art venues; here you'll find paintings, installations, video art, and experimental architecture from international artists, including works by the mysterious Flemish theater director/choreographer/artist Jan Fabre, whose sculptures and installations, often based on or involving insects, have established him as a leading figure in the Belgian art world. The museum, which also contains an arthouse cinema and library, is housed in a renovated grain silo. There's also a roof terrace cafe.
