Vienna Sights

Jewish Museum

Jewish Museum Review

The former Eskeles Palace, once an elegant private residence, now houses the Jüdisches Museum der Stadt Wien. Permanent exhibits tell of the momentous role that Vienna-born Jews have played in realms from music to medicine, art to philosophy, both in Viennauntil abruptly halted in 1938and in the world at large. Changing exhibits add contemporary touches. The museum complex includes a café and bookstore.
