Personal service is the hallmark of this family-run hotel and restaurant, an easy 10-minute walk from the town center. The immaculate rooms are comfortably attractive, done in natural woods and white with pastel accents; those in the back are quieter. The rustic wood-panel restaurant has a menu that changes seasonally—lamb in the spring; salads, fresh herbs, wild mushrooms, and berries in the summer; and game and goose in the fall (but it's closed Monday October–May,
and closes at 5 pm Sunday, November–May). In pleasant weather the canopied outdoor dining terrace is a green oasis. Wine comes from the family vineyards.
