Hotel Veltlin Review
Near the Kellergasse on the edge of town, this fine hotel has lots to do with wine. (The name calls to mind grüner veltliner, one of the best local wines.) The elegant and spacious rooms are named after types of wine, and are furnished accordingly in appropriately rich shades. Bathrooms are well equipped, and have nice touches like fluffy robes. A balcony or terrace in each room allows wonderful views of the fields, orchards, or vineyards in the surrounding area. An extensive spa area includes a sauna and steam bath. Just past the doorstep is a fine 18-hole golf course.
