Timbale Review
Cozy (with only five tables) and cheerful, Timbale is one of the premier restaurants in the Salzkammergut, known far and wide for regional specialties done just so. The taste treats start with the corn, whole wheat, and French breads baked on the premises, and dazzle on to the Stubenküken (chicken breast) stuffed with a cheese soufflé and wild mushrooms, or the Kalbsrücken (veal) with risotto and grilled shallots. Your eyes, as well as your stomach, will be happy—the crocheted red flower petals on periwinkle-blue tablecloths make everyone smile.
